Woman Warrior Retreat

Woman Warrior
Event Description

History tends to portray women as meek and mild, relegating the “fairer sex” to the sidelines or as background characters in an overwhelmingly male narrative. The strong, influential woman is considered an exception to the rule of the hierarchy of gender. But women are no less capable of participating on the stage of human events, and many feel called to do just that!

This retreat will examine the concepts of human rights, economic justice, sacred activism, and life purpose. We also will explore how to channel righteous anger into action and reflect on Warrior Self-Care. Attendees will participate in classes, ceremonies, survival training, and confidence building exercises that will empower them to leave with the tools needed to confidently make a difference in our world. Let us promote a more socially just and equal story – herstory – with courage, compassion, and charisma!
