Spirituality & Singing Salon: Civic Virtues

Amelia Bland Waller
Event Description

Please join us at Oracle Temple as we explore ageless and contemporary spiritual themes and theosophies. We also will raise our voices in song.

The Oracle Temple Salon is a recurring event on the second Friday of each month. We will embark on high-level discussions and spiritual reflection, with a new theme to consider each month. This month's theme will be Civic Virtues. Amelia Bland Waller, law professor at the Appalachian School of Law, will introduce the Thirteen Virtues of the Ben Franklin Circles. Based on a commitment to fostering civic participation, open dialogue, and ethics-based leadership, Franklin’s group would meet to explore how to better incorporate these virtues in their lives – and use them as a foundation for enriching the world.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and sowing “Seeds of Song.” Along the way, we'll learn more about ourselves, each other, and God, as we pay respect to Sacred Texts and to New Age concepts such as: The Spectrum of Consciousness, Duality & Non-Duality, Enlightenment, Incarnation, Mythology, Cosmology, Archetypes, and more!
