Oracle Independence:

Our home along the New River

The Oracle Institute has designed and has started to build an interfaith and social justice center - the "Peace Pentagon" - along the New River in a small town called Independence, Virginia. Independence is located in Grayson County, Virginia, whose motto is: Protector of Nature.

The New River is the oldest river in our hemisphere, and some geologists believe it is the second oldest river in the world, since the Appalchian Mountains are the oldest mountain range on Earth. The New River Valley region stretches 320 miles: starting in North Carolina, passing through Virginia, and culminating in West Virginia, where the New River meets the Kanawha River and ultimately flows into the Ohio River.

Oracle has acquired 22 acres along the New River for the construction of the Peace Pentagon, which will be utilized for the expansion of our non-profit publishing house, our spirituality school, and our future "Center for Conflict Transformation", a social justice and peace-building practice. In short, the New River Valley - The Valley of Light - is a fertile crescent and a vortex of high crystalline energy. It is the ideal location for the Peace Pentagon.

Construction of the Peace Pentagon

On June 8, 2012, Oracle hosted the "100 Shovels Groundbreaking Ceremony" to commemorate the start of construction for the Peace Pentagon. Additionally, we wish to share our construction progress: To see architectural drawings of the Peace Pentagon and photos of the excavation and construction, please view our new webpage for the Peace Pentagon.
